Features
Password based Security
All Domain Names have a password based security, All Domain Names
belonging to a particular Customer can only be modified through
the right Username and Password combination of that customer.
All orders maybe clubbed into a single Customer interface so that
you don't have to remember multiple passwords.
Delegate
responsibility by creating Account Managers
This is a unique feature offered by Directi. A Customer can create
Account Managers for every Order. This has the following advantages.
An Account Manager can only manage their Order assigned to him.
He cannot touch any other order. This is particularly advantageous
to Customers who have more than 1 Domain Names and want their
ISP/Web Host to make changes to any particular one. They can create
an Account Manager for that Domain Name thus preventing the ISP
from changing details of any other Domain Name
The Customer is in control of any change made by an Account Manager.
You can disable the access of an Account Manager at anytime
Notify
on ALL Changes
Another unique feature offered by V2web, is the Notify on all
Changes feature. This will end an automatic notification to YOUR
email address when ANY change is made to your Domain Name. Several
occasions companies do not find out until days before their Domain
Name details have changed. With our Change-Notify feature you
are immediately notified upon any change and you can determine
whether the change was authorised as well as appropriate and take
immediate action.

LOCK
Several TLD Registries have the ability to create what is known
as a Domain LOCK. V2web offers this feature to our Customers whereby
you may place a LOCK on your Domain Name. Once a Domain Name is
locked NO modifications can be made to the Domain by ANYONE. The
Domain Name may not even be transferred to another Registrar.
The Domain will remain in a LOCKED status until you yourself choose
to remove the LOCK. This feature is by far the most powerful feature
to ensure that noone can make any changes to your Domain Name
without your express approval.

Renew
V2web makes it easier than ever to renew your currently-registered
domain names.
What will happen to my domain if I don't renew it?
60-days before your domain(s) expire MyDomain will send notices
reminding you to renew. The exact expiration date can be seen
in your account. If the domain expires it will still be maintained
in the registration database for a 40-day period where it can
still be renewed at the normal price. After the grace period it
will be deactivated and placed into a 30-day Redemption Period.
Although the domain(s) are scheduled for deletion at this point
they can still be retrieved by request by filling out this form.
The fee for reactivating a domain in the Redemption Period is
$99.50 + the normal renewal fee. At the end of the Redemption
Period the domain(s) will go into a 5-day delete cycle at the
end of which they will become available for anyone to register.

Transfer
Enter the domains you'd like to transfer to MyDomain.com (please
do not include http://www). Domains must already be registered with
another registrar and must be valid domain names.
Transfers will succeed only if the admin contact information
showing in the current registrar's Whois is up-to-date.
Not all domain name functionalities will transfer. For example,
another registrar may offer 5 MB free Web hosting, free URL forwarding,
etc. These services will not transfer. You will, however, have
access to set-up any Domain services for your domain once the
transfer completes.
Some domain name functionalities that transfer will not do so
automatically. These services will have to be re-configured by
the client through our account management system.
Only .COM, .NET, .ORG, .BIZ, .US, and .INFO domain names can currently
be transferred. Other ccTLDs will be included at a later date.
Transfers will take between 5 and 7 days under normal circumstances
to complete. If the losing registrar refuses to acknowledge a
transfer request for any reason, the transfer may take longer
to complete.
